Frequent Questions

Here are answers to the questions I get asked most often by my clients. If you have any questions that aren't answered, don’t hesitate to reach out through the inquiry form.

  • I've been a photographer for 13 years! I photographed my first wedding when I was 18 years old.

  • I'm based in Montréal, Quebec, but I grew up in the Pacific Northwest of the US and travel often to Portland, Oregon and Seattle, Washington. I'm always happy to travel to new and beautiful places to photograph.

  • The number of photos delivered will vary based on the session package that you select. The packages I offer are structured by the number of hours and coincide with how many photos will be delivered. Per each hour of session time, you will receive a minimum of 50 photos. I don't like to give a cutoff or maximum number of photos as I'll always give you plenty of images so that your memories can be fully captured! 

    ​For movement sessions wherein you can choose to select your own images, each package will indicate the allotted amount of images you can select.

  • Between 4 to 16 weeks from your shoot date. My editing turnaround time will depend on how many sessions I have in a given season, but I will always work to get your images to you as quickly as possible while still ensuring the quality and consistency of my editing for each of your images.

  • No, editing is an integral part of what gives each image the attention and magic it deserves. Without this key element the photos are only halfway done.

  • I don't offer photoshopping services for any extreme alterations to how you look except for temporary cosmetic items you'd rather not see in the photos (bruises, acne, etc).

    If you are self conscious about something, please let me know before our session and I will make sure to keep that in mind throughout with poses and framing.

  • To reserve your requested date and time, I require a signed contract and a 50% retainer payment. Unfortunately I cannot hold any dates until these both are received. The remaining 50% of payment is due two months in advance for weddings, and one month in advance for portrait, movement, and engagement sessions.

  • For movement sessions I recommend one hour if staying in the same location. For portrait and engagement sessions I recommend atleast one to two hours. Between location and outfit changes, having the time to enjoy and not rush is an important part of the experience! 

    For weddings it all depends on the duration of your itinerary for the day, and how much of it you want photographed. I structure my wedding packages based on hourly coverage from six to twelve hours.​

  • Yes! Whether you need location suggestions, best times for lighting during the season, or anything else I can help with to ensure our session is a smooth and enjoyable for you!

  • Yes! While I find myself photographing outdoors quite often, I love a studio session where we can have full control of lighting and background.

  • Life can be unexpected, and if we need to reschedule I'm happy to accommodate as my schedule will allow. While I do not charge a rescheduling fee, if you need to cancel the session completely the 50% retainer payment paid when you booked your session is non-refundable.

Movement

  • Movement session packages start at one hour of coverage and include 20 images selected by the client.

    ​After the session, you will receive a contact sheet with all the photos taken. You will be able to make your selections and I will then edit your chosen photos.

  • $250 / hour

Portraits

  • Portrait session packages start at one hour of coverage and include a minimum of 50 photos.​

    For outdoor portrait sessions I recommend one main location with a walkability of 5-15 minutes per spot for a variety of backdrops. For sessions with multiple people i.e. couples or families I recommend a minimum of two hours to avoid rush.

Couple

  • Engagement packages start at one hour of coverage and include a minimum of 50 images.

    Wedding packages start at six hours of coverage and include a minimum of 400 images.

  • Engagement Sessions $250 / hour

Restaurant & Event

  • Packages start at one hour of coverage and include a minimum of 50 images for events and lifestyle. For product and food photography sessions, a minimum of one photo per item/dish.

  • $250 / hour
